IMPORTANT: IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST SHO'N'GO PLEASE NOTE
************************************************************************************
There is a certain amount of waiting at a sho'n'go, as in a sanctioned trial, so
you may need to stay for several hours, depending on how many runs you
sign up for.  The event may go on well into the afternoon.
You should therefore bring: EZ Up, chair, water, water bowl,  drinks,
food/snacks, sunscreen, hat, crate or ex-pen, leash,  treats, toys,
poop bags.   Oh! and don't forget your dog.

Need help: contact jean@funrunagility.com or call Jean at
661-726-4683(hm) or 661-609-9872(cell)
or call Mary at 310-990-4765 (cell)

Give us the grace to see a joke,
To get some humor out of life

Agility Blessing

May the tunnels not have too much suction,
May the course be fun and fast.
May your dogs not stop to say "hello"
to the photographers they pass!

May the table not be too slippery,
May the chute house no scary beasts,
May all the yellow parts be touched
with one little toe, at least.

May the wind be always at your back,
May no bars fall on the ground.
May the A-frame have no stop sign on top,
May the judge's whistle never sound.

May your dog obey all correct commands
And ignore the ones that are wrong.
May your heart be light, your feet be sure
and the bond with your dog grow strong.

At the finish line, may great joy abound,
regardless of your score,
You have your dog, your dog has you,,
and who could ask for more?

How To Remove a Tick
Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball.
Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton
ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20),
the tick will come out on its own and be
stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away

Flea and Tick Medication
There is increasing concern about the long-term affects on
our animals from using flea and tick medications,
especially on animals with seizures.
